Everyday life

Lovely isn't it this pic down here! A Saturday play of golf with his mate Eelco and friends is what a wonderful start is to wind down after a week of work. Just walking in an oase while hitting a small ball once in a while. Well let's leave the 'once in a while' out.
You've seen a few pics of our wonderful new house from the inside and just to give you an idea what we are looking at at the end of the day while we're sitting on our deck I will send you some of our daily sunset photos. Different each time.
Enough warmth for now (sunny sun sets), just want to let you all know that while Rogier is working I'm actually trying to look for a job. It's not the easiest because in Australia looking for a job is scrolling, klicking, searching through all the different websites and as we stil just have one computer with internet access it's kinda hard. But newspapers still have some adds and it's even possible just when you have an early bird walk tour. You're thinking 'what's she talking about?' . For the variation first some photos of our Bird ID walk in Boondall Wetlands, just North of Brisbane:
As you can see they where one with the tree.
Back to my job hunting. After the walk I asked our friendly very very patient volunteer guide if he knew how the job opportunities at the Environment Centre are - Boondall Wetlands are part of it- and now I am applying for an Environment Centre Education officer job. It not so easy to apply for because everything has to go through their application website and as a foreigner I think they have made it very difficult. But hopefully with some help from someone from the Environment Centre Boondall Wetlands I can apply for it. Other then that also been applying for a few other jobs. And in the meanwhile applied as a volunteer at the Animal Aid. So I'm keeping myself busy as you can read other then enjoying a daily early walk, cleaning the house, doing the wash, making dinners and other things that fills a day. I can hear Rogier saying: "I don't mind!".
That's all folks! Have a nice week ahead and write to you soon with other Down Under stories.
